Eckel, Joyce - 96, Passed away peacefully at the Meadows home for special care in Yarmouth Nova Scotia on November 27, 2019. Joyce was the daughter of the late Arthur A. and Louise A. (Langthorne) Dunn. Always a lady, Joyce was a good mother and fierce protector of her children, a good friend and a loving wife. She enjoyed cooking big Sunday and holiday family dinners and loved to go fishing and for Sunday drives in the Alberta countryside with her late husband Don. Joyce worked in the diamond room at Acme Novelty and Alberta Motor Association before retiring with her late husband Don to Kemptville Nova Scotia. Joyce is survived by her children Donna, Brenda and Bruce (Crystal), her sisters Doris Webster and Addie Eldridge, and her beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.She was predeceased by her husband Don, brother Arnold Dunn, sisters Edith Churchill, Violet Cann and Catherine MacDonald and grandson Larry Harrison.Cremation has taken place under the care of Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth.
