A celebration of life will be held from 2-4 P.M. on July 30th 2022 at the South Ohio Community Center
Interment will take place in Hillside Cemetery at 1:30 P.M. prior to the Celebration of Life.
Crosby (Davis) Joyce Marie – age 79 of the Villa Acadienne, Meteghan and formerly of South Ohio, Yarmouth Co passed away peacefully on January 25, 2022. Born January 22, 1943, in Yarmouth, she was the daughter of the late Freeman and Sarah Davis. Joyce was a stay-at-home wife and mom most of her life and loved her family very much. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Larry Crosby, South Ohio; children, Darryl (Marielle) Crosby, Surette's Island; Gary (Audrey) Crosby, Alberta; and Wendy (Faren) Surette, Yarmouth; siblings, Stanley Davis, Audrey Fritz and Gladys Crosby; as well as eight grandchildren, Kayla, Nadia, Jerica, Steven, Melissa, Spencer, Ali, and Abbie; great-grandchildren, Landon, Ryker, Zoey and Keegan who she loved very much; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Cecil, Roger, Belle, Mae and Marjorie. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. A burial and celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place under the care of Sweeny's Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth.
