Joy Eunice Hubley
It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of our dearly loved mother Joy Eunice Hubley (age 66 of Carleton, Yarmouth Co., NS) who passed away on October 4, 2022, at Yarmouth Regional Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. Joy was born on December 21, 1955, in Bridgewater Lunenburg County and raised in Upper Northfield.
She devoted her life to her children Craig (Shannon) Hubley, Rockville; and Danny Hubley, Wedgeport; and to her grandchildren, Logan Hubley, Evvie Scott-Hubley, Ely Ben Mohamed, and Leila Ben Mohamed. She is also survived by siblings;George (Carol Ann); Betty Ann( Reg); Fred (Ann); James (Brenda);Bonnie (Bruce); Mary Lou( Philip)
Joy was a loving and devoted wife to her late husband Cedric Hubley for 49 years. Joy had many talents in crafting, ceramics, crocheting, tole painting, gardening. She also loved fishing with Cedric and her sons, as well as coffee dates with family and friends. Joy will always be remembered for her laughter, always smiling, and making jokes. She will be greatly missed by her friends, family members, close neighbors, and many others who knew her.
Joy was predeceased by both parents, Maurice and Marjorie Fancy; her husband, Cedric Hubley; brothers, Sonny and Lloyd; sister, Kaye
The family would like to acknowledge and thank John Upton, Ian Amiro, Joanne Carston, Norma Newell, Tri-County V.O.N, Home Support, and the nurses and doctors of the 3rd floor ICU.
