Obituary for Josephine Marie Moulaison

Moulaison Josephine Marie – age 84 of Yarmouth and formerly of Hubbard’s Point passed away peacefully on December 14, 2019 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital surrounded by loved ones. Born in Hubbard's point on November 19,1935 she was a daughter of the late Elien and Lillian Muise. Josephine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved and cherished time with her family. She was mainly a housewife but did work as a cafeteria worker at the Vocational School for many years. She was a devoted member of New life Church and was known to have a servant’s heart who wouldn’t hesitate to help others. She loved to knit and made many hats including some for pre-mature babies at the IWK. Josephine was also known for her baking skills, especially the bread that she blessed so many with. She loved to socialize. She especially loved the little trips with her sisters, and she loved to laugh. She is survived by her children, Chris Moulaison (Doreen), Arcadia; Debbie (Larry) LeBlanc, Plymouth; Sandra (Walter) Pennell, Brenton; siblings, Clarence (Georgina), Dartmouth; Lester (Barbara), Tusket; Roy (Simone), Yarmouth; Danny (Janice), Abrams River; Shirley (Bill), Boudreau, Hubbard’s Point; Nora (David) Boudreau, Hubbard’s Point; Gary (Bev), Summerville; grandchildren, Kristy Muise (Justin), Sarah (Phillip) Ready, Jeremy Muise (Chelsea), Isaac Pennell (Audrey), Luke Pennell (Shannon) Devon; great grandchildren, Riley, Jack, Parker, Claire, Elena, Sam, Vincent, Kingston and a baby to be. Besides her parents Josephine was predeceased by her loving husband Harold “Kelly” Moulaison; and her sister, Eva Dulong. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation will be held December 18, 2019 from 1 until 2 P.M. with a celebration of life starting at 2 P.M., Rev. Larry Pennell will be officiating, all in Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Tusket Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donations in memory can be made to the New Life Church.
