John Joseph Doyle Jr. – age 52, of Carleton, Yarmouth Co., N.S. passed away on April 2, 2023, in Halifax at the QEII Health Sciences Center. Born in Ontario on November 5, 1970, he was a son of Cheryl Rayner and the late John Doyle Sr., and stepson to Bride Doyle. John was a person who was larger than life and someone you wouldn’t forget meeting. He was a loyal friend and strong-willed, always wanting the world to be a better place. A fighter right until the end he did not let cancer get the best of him. John had several hobbies which included playing the drums and fishing. He is survived by his sons which he loved so much, River Robbins, Jett Robbins, and Jakob Comeau Doyle, and; brother, Ed (Cheryl) Doyle; sisters, Donna Doyle ( Keith Hannan), and Leanne Doyle; and several grandchildren. Cremation has taken place under the care of Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth.
