Jeffrey Lorne Hatfield, 49 died suddenly on May 29th. He was the beloved son of Suzanne (Hatfield) Winchester and the late Lorne Hatfield. He is survived by his wife Debbie of Wedgeport, daughter Jessica Hatfield (wife Jennifer) of Kentville, daughter Rachelle McLean (Chris Gibson) of Fredericton,NB, sons Derrick (Coline Baker) and Christopher (Brenda Schappert) McLean of Calgary, AB and sister Bonnie Thacker (Hal) of Provo, Utah. A trucker by trade for the past 25 years, following in his father's footsteps, Jeff made dear friends through his years at Midland and Armour. He was a devoted husband, loving father and son, and a great friend to all. His quick wit and wicked sense of humor allowed him to face most situations or challenges head-on. Known as Jeffro by his sons, Daddy by his daughters, he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held Sunday June 2, 2019 at 12:30 P.M. from Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel with President Ron Doucette officiating. Interment will follow in Morristown Cemetery.
