Irene “Arlene” Nickerson of Yarmouth passed away on November 27,2022 at the age of 89. Born in South Ohio she was lovingly raised by her grandparents, Tracy and Alice Nickerson. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church for a number of years. She was kind, soft hearted and enjoyed going for drives. She is survived by many cousins and their families. She was predeceased by her mother, Gladys Nickerson. As per Arlene’s request there will be no funeral service at this time. Interment will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. The family wish to thank Treasured Memories Seniors Estate for their care and compassion shown to Arlene over the years. Memorial donations may be made to the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church or the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia.
