FROTTEN Ida Vivian – age 79, of Yarmouth, passed away in Yarmouth Regional Hospital on January 17, 2023. Born in Yarmouth she was a daughter to Elsie (Rines) (William Gray ) as well as Peter and Anna Surette. Ida enjoyed camping with her husband Lloyd and doing historical re-enactments with her sister Lili. She also loved TV BINGO and wouldn’t say no to a good shopping trip. She was a great storyteller and loved telling stories of her life. Ida didn’t always have the easiest life but always made the best of it. She was kind, compassionate and always willing to help. Although she could be a feisty spitfire of a lady, she had a heart of gold. She was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her sister Lili Muise (Earl d’Entremont); special friends Bernice Gould, Lisa LeBlanc and Pam Saulnier; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. Ida was predeceased by her parents Elsie (Rines) as well as Peter and Anna Surette; husband Lloyd, and sister Leona Smith. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will take place in the spring. Donations in memory may be made to the I.W.K or a charity of your choice.
