Helena Princess Fowler of Greenville, passed away April 20,2022 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born April 13,1935, she was a daughter to the late Ivan and Marguerite (Falls) Crawford. Helena loved her large family; she loved her children deeply, they were very important to her. The walls in her home were filled with endless pictures and memories of her cherished loved ones. She enjoyed listening to Elvis, playing cards and her favorite snack of dried fish. Her favorite saying was ,“Hey, Hey, Hey”
She is survived by her children, Lois Crawford; Louise Fowler; Liela Falkowski; Lana Fowler; Arnold (John)Crawford; James (Ron)Fowler; Douglas (Michele) Fowler; Reginald(Sue)Fowler; brothers, William (Louise); James; sisters Angeline; Ethel (Melvin); Myrtle( Eddie); Theresa (Phil); numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; great great great grandchildren. Aside from her parents she was predeceased by her husband , Douglas; children, Lillian; Wallace; Raymond; brothers, Edward; Kenneth; Wilfred; Aubrey; sisters, Dorothy; Ada and Muriel.
Visitation will be held Wednesday April 27th, 2022, from 6-9 pm, Funeral Service will be Thursday April 28th ,2022 at 2 pm, both from the Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. Rev William Crawford officiating. Interment to follow in the Greenville Cemetery. A reception will be held in the Greenville Community Hall following the interment. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
