Obituary for Heather Jean Shaw

Shaw, Heather Jean, 58 of Gardner Mills. It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our Mom, Wife, Grammie, Sister, Aunt, Niece and friend, on September 15,2019. Born in Yarmouth on May 5,1961, she was a daughter to the late William and Betty (Bullerwell) Reeves. Heathers greatest joy in life was her family, she made sure she took care of everyone she loved. Her first priority was to make sure her children, husband and grandchildren were taken care of. Her youngest sister Cheryl was one of her best friends, and special Aunts Marilyn and Sandra were beyond compare. Our hearts are broken, but she set the best example and made sure we would care for each other. Heather loved golf, gardening, her farm, driving and coffee, none of which could be done right, without her rock and roll music. She was a "Jane of all trades" and could do anything she got the notion to do. She went to hairdressing school after high school, and lived briefly in Toronto, before coming home and starting her family. She worked at Register.com for ten years where she made some wonderful friends. Most recently she worked at Your Winners World, where she enjoyed meeting new people and seeing old friends. Denise you were such a good friend in recent years, and it was truly appreciated. She is survived by her loving husband, Charles; daughter, Clara (Brad Murphy) Reeves; son, Jessie Shaw; granddaughters, Ellie and Sophie; brother, Keith (Virginia) Reeves; sisters, Cheryl (Chris Ross) Reeves and Flora Reeves. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny's Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation will be Thursday, September 19,2019 from 7-9 pm. from the Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be Saturday, September 21,2019 at 1 pm. from the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. Rev. Mike Cannell and Rev. Jonathan Cann officiating. Memorial donations in Heather's memory may be made to the TNR (Trap Neuter Release) or the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.
