It is with very heavy hearts that the family of Harold Gordon Landers, age 60, announces his passing on December 13,2021. After a long courageous battle with illnesses, he passed away peacefully with his family and caregivers by his side. Harold was born April 30,1961 in Yarmouth, NS, the son to the late H. Burpee and J. Delores Landers. He will be forever loved and missed by his sister, Treena; brother, Troy (Natasha); niece and nephew, Jessica and Bradley; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Aside from his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Shelley Ann Susan Landers. Harold is a graduate of Cole Harbour High School and Burridge Campus, Yarmouth. He will be remembered for his kind, gentle soul. He was a loyal big brother and cherished his family and friends. He could always be depended on to lend a helping hand to those in need. The family wishes to express a sincere thank you to the wonderful staff at Northwood, Halifax who provided such excellent care over the years, they were truly like a second family to him. Visitation will be Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 7-9 pm in the Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel, Yarmouth. Funeral Service will take place Friday, December 17,2021 at 1 pm also from Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow in the Sandford Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Sandford Cemetery or Charity of your choice.
