It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gregory Loran Bourque in San Diego, California. He was born September 27, 1966 in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, son of Michael D. Bourque and Carolyn (Hall) Bourque, Dayton. Gregory had a Bachelor of Science degree from Acadia University and a Master of Science degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego. He practiced his profession until his death. Gregory is survived by his son, Raymond Michael Bourque, San Diego and Raymond’s mother, Trina Jacobson, of San Diego; brothers Stephen (Simone) Bourque, Forest Glen, NS and Andrew (Deborah) Bourque, Vancouver, Washington, USA; also nieces, nephews and cousins in NS and the USA. Gregory was an avid cyclist until a serious accident 13 years ago. He had many cycling friends in Canada and the United States. Gregory will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Gregory’s ashes will be returned to Yarmouth for burial in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Yarmouth.
