Gerald Edgar Crosby, 84, of Port Maitland, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022, in hospital after a brief illness. He is survived by his loving partner, Debbie Nickerson, his daughter, Sheila Barchard, son, Wayne Kirby Crosby (Christine), 4 granddaughters, Erika, Hailee, Jillian and Melissa, his great grandson, Leo, and his sisters, Carol Gray and Brenda Cunningham. A construction worker and contractor by trade, Gerry was always puttering and fixing things and willing to lend a hand. He loved his garden, and then canning and pickling his haul, perfecting his recipes for homemade pickles and salsa. Per his wishes, there will be no service. He will be laid to rest with his parents at Lake George Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lake George Cemetery.
