Burns, George, 62 of North Chegoggin passed away July 11,2020. Born in Sydney, NS he was the only son to the late Earl and Thelma (Gregor) Burns. George was a distribution manager for Air Liquide in Moncton for 27 years until his retirement. He was a sports fanatic, hockey and baseball being two of his favorites. He enjoyed going to watch horse racing in PEI and watching anything News, always keeping up with whatever was going on in the world around him. As his children were growing up, he was an adoring and loving father and he enjoyed their many camping trips and watching them in all of their activities. He leaves behind to morn, his wife, Lynn (Christian); daughter, Laurie (Richard Sutcliffe) Burns, Dartmouth; son, Gregory (Natalie Burgoyne) Burns, Halifax; dog companion, Charlie; adoring sisters, Beth MacLennan; Janet Burns; Brenda MacDonald and Helen Townsend; as well as many ;loving nephews and nieces.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny's Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth.
