Fenton, Frances Edna, 79, Yarmouth, went to be with her Lord March 2, 2018. Born in Greenville February 14, 1939, she was the daughter to the late Jacob and Catherine (Wesley) Johnson. Frances enjoyed knitting, putting together puzzles, gardening, quilting and baking, making her famous for her homemade bread. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Lawrence Fenton; daughters Grace Fenton, Yarmouth; Sandra (Kevin Meally) Foe, Ontario; Bonnie (Bill) Doucette, Yarmouth; Kim (John Lent) Fenton, Yarmouth; sons Patrick Fenton, Ontario; Bobby (Pam) Fenton, New Brunswick; Peter (Julie) Fenton, Yarmouth; Mike (Connie) Fenton, Yarmouth; Troy Johnson, Halifax; brothers Arthur Johnson, Greenville; Lou Johnson, Greenville; Malcolm Johnson, Yarmouth; Philip Johnson, Yarmouth; Terry Johnson, Yarmouth; sisters Arvella “Belle” Johnson, Greenville; Janet Champdoizeau, Yarmouth; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her son Anthony”Tony”; brothers Walter, Benjamin, Sydney and sister Jeanette. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium in Yarmouth. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 2:00- 4:00 & 7:00- 9:00pm from the Sweeny’s Funeral home Chapel. Funeral will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 2:00pm from the Evangel Assembly, Yarmouth. Rev Nathan Hill officiating. Interment at the Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Frances may be made to the Diabetes Association or Tri county VON.
