MANNING Florence Louise – age 73 of Yarmouth, passed away peacefully on April 19,2020 with her husband by her side. Born in Yarmouth on January 14, 1947, she was a daughter to the late Hazel (Tedford) Berry and Paul Thomas Arthur Berry. Florence spent her whole life in the church. She was a devoted member of the Yarmouth Wesleyan Church, where she was a secretary and taught Sunday school. She was also a private secretary to the Municipal Clerk for over 27 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Albert “ Carlyle ” Manning; daughter, Joy Ester Hatfield, Maine; sisters, Frances Berry and Margaret Jewett and many grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Robert Berry. Cremation has taken place under the care of Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. As per Florence's wishes, there will be no formal memorial service. Donations in memory may be made to the Arthritis Society of Nova Scotia .
