Howie, Florence, 71 0f Rockville, passed away at home on February 16,2020. Born in Yarmouth, May 19, 1948, she was a daughter to the late Gerald and Helen (Muise) Atkinson. Florence loved life and after 40 years living away in Ontario, she was very happy to be “home” in Nova Scotia again. She enjoyed spending time with her great grandchildren and best friends Kathy and Dave Harper, going to Tim Horton’s and diamond painting. She is survived by daughters, Helen (Kevin) O’Neil; Cora (Mark) Donneral; grandchildren, Ashley; Mikayla; Abbygail; Great grandchildren, Natalia; Hayden; Harlan; as well as many brothers and sisters. Aside from her parents she was predeceased by her husband Bill Howie. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
