Policha, Ellen -age 90 of the Meadows Home for Special Care, Yarmouth, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2020. Born in Andrew, Alberta, she spent her childhood on a large farm. In her younger years, Ellen started her career as a court reporter, followed by opening her own cleaning company called the Gold Seal Services. She was a member of the Jehovah Witness Congregation and was an avid gardener. She is survived by her brother, Michael Farris. Ellen was predeceased by her loving husband, Matthew; six brothers and two sisters. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Yarmouth. Interment to occur at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Watch Tower Bible Tract Society or Schizophrenia Society of Nova Scotia.
