Obituary for Edward "Bev" Beverly Densmore

Densmore, Edward Beverly “Bev” age 74 passed into his Lord & Savior’s arms on Saturday August 6th, at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in St. Martin’s NB on June 15th, 1948, he was son of the late Herb & Ruth Densmore. “Bev” as he was better known grew up in Fairfield, NB with both parents being deaf mutes. He graduated from Simonds High Saint John, NB, Atlantic Baptist College, NB and Acadia Divinity College, NS. Before he was called into the ministry, he worked at Maritime Beverage Co in Saint John. He pastored in Restigouche Field Flatlands, NB, Moores & Mann’s Settlement (Que), held Bible studies on McDavid’s Mt., Smithtown, Salt Springs, Titusville (NB), Freeport, Port Hilford, Arcadia, Chebogue, Rockville, Carleton and Lake George (NS). He loved to be creative with popsicle sticks, wooden models. He had a passion for model trains. His greatest joy was preaching and visiting. In his later years he was blessed with precious granddaughters. He was predeceased by his parents Herbert & Ruth Densmore, brother Lloyd and sister Marion (in early childhood). He is survived by wife, Ethel; sons, Jonathan (Bonny) NB; Andrew (Amee), PEI and daughter, Heidi (Yarmouth); delightful granddaughters: brothers, Carl (Val); Walter (Happy); George (Linda); sister-in-law, Fran. Funeral service will be held on August 12, at 1pm at Temple Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Turpin officiating. Reception to follow in hall. Donations may be made to Lake George church, VON, or Send a Kid to Camp. A special thank to all the Doctors, nurses and staff at Yarmouth Regional Hospital and Tri County VON for their kind and compassionate care.
