CROSBY Edith Evelyn – age 97, of the Villa St Joseph Du Lac, Dayton Yarmouth Co., passed away peacefully on February 21, 2020 at the Villa. Born in Yarmouth on May 27, 1922 she was a daughter to the late Richard Smith and Geniva Crosby. She is survived by her son, Robert (Catherine) Crosby, Ottawa ON; grandchildren, Gregory and Timmothy; and great grandchildren, Meagan, Nathalie, and Rachel. Edith was the last surviving member of her immediate family and besides her parents was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd Crosby; sisters, Ruth and Olive; and brother, Frank. Cremation has taken place under the care of Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A graveside service will takes place at a later date in Riverside Cemetery in Hebron.
