Webster, Doris Louise
Doris passed away peacefully with family by her side on February 9,2022. Born March 21,1922, she was a daughter to the late Arthur and Louise (Langthorn) Dunn. In early years she studied as a beautician, making a decision to later become a selfless homemaker raising her family. Everyone was always welcome at the Webster home. Her favorite phrase was “Can I get you something to eat dear?” She was a dedicated long-time attendee to Yarmouth North Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for numerous years. Doris was an avid gardener. Many people over the years would stop and remark how beautiful her gardens were on Pleasant Street. Her greatest times were spent with her family. Doris’s grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy. She is survived by daughters, Diane (Dick) MacDonald Stewart, Yarmouth; Roseanne (Arthur MacDonald) Webster, Lunenburg; 13 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; special daughter, Alice and special niece, Stephanie; brother in law, David Webster; numerous nieces , nephews , as well as extended family all of whom she loved dearly. Aside from her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Leander “Bud”; daughter, Carol (in infancy); son, Arthur “Buddy”; siblings, Arnold “ William”, Violet, Joyce ,Addie, Edith, and Kathleen; great grandson, Daniel. Interment and graveside service will take May 21st ,2022 at 12 p.m. in the Chebogue Cemetery.
