Condolence: My deepest sympathies to all of you who shared a life with Donna. She was a lovely lady and had an infectious smile that lit up her face. She was a friend to all and especially close to Rebecca my niece and her husband Rob and son Chase. I met her through business dealings and through common affiliations to spiritual events, relay for life and the hospital gift shop. I will always see her with her straw hat with sunflowers walking the survivors walk and well into the night to show her support. Although we were only acquaintances, I always loved her transparency and her love of life. She will be sadly missed. My prayers are with you all. Cora

Condolence From: Donna LeBlanc-Messenger
Condolence: We are all well aware that our knowledge of an individual relates only to our experience of them . Reading Donna ‘s obit drives that message home as I think of her only as my dearest friend on Yarmouth Hospital Foundation for many years and yet our friendship was just the tiniest fragment of the person she was . The first day I attended a meeting of that Board she saw me scanning the room which was full of many faces that were strange to me and I was feeling somewhat anxious as I was the only member from the far off community of Barrington :)She beckoned two me to sit with her and we laughed that we both had hyphenated last names and the same first names so it was meant to be that we were destined to be kindred spirits. She had the gift of making you feel so important when she was sharing a conversation with you . She encouraged me to share or to ask questions and even after the meetings would sit with me in the lobby of the hospital while we both waited for our husbands to pick us up . I was very sad to hear that she had passed as she was indeed one of the most “real “people that I have ever chanced to meet and I will always consider her a kindred spirit .
