Smith, Donald Alfred, 78 of Richfield passed away February 14,2022 at home with his loving family by his side. Born in Yarmouth, he was a son to the late Bradford and Beulah (Muise) Smith. Donald was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He thought the absolute world of his grandchildren. He enjoyed going to Native Spiritual Gatherings, creating model railroads and puttering in his workshop. He is survived by his wife, Alice; sons, Derek (Tara), Tusket; Cory, Richfield; Derek (Marla) Hapenny, Yarmouth; grandchildren, Destiny, Malcolm, Orion, Asia, Jennifer, Stephanie, Brandon, Aaron, Shelby; 8 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Rose (Doug); John Muise; Susan (Paul); Arthur; Mary; Ralph (Nicole); Linda (Peter); Hank (Marina); Susan (Mike); Cathy; Patty (Doug); sister in laws, Marge; Brenda. Aside from his parents he was predeceased by brothers, John (Sonny) Smith; David; Benny ; George; niece, Lisa; step parents, Mary and Henry. A private family funeral service will be Friday, February 18,2022 at 2p.m. , Alden Fells officiating. There will be a live webcast available on the Sweeny’s Funeral Home website for those unable to attend. Interment at a later date.
