Wyman Diane Gail- age 77, of Chebogue, Yarmouth Co., N.S. passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on February 11, 2023. Born in Yarmouth on December 26, 1945, she was a daughter to the late Norman and Winnifred (Maxwell) Brannen. After graduating from vocational school, Diane worked at E.K. Spinney and for the Department of Highways. In her spare time, she loved to shop, square dance with the Bluenose Twirlers, and go boating on the Chebogue river. She also enjoyed day trips to Cape Sable Island, where she spent summers with her grandparents as a young child. She was known for her generosity and kindness as well as her cooking abilities. Diane is survived by her husband of 52 years G. William “Bill” Wyman; son, Ian W. Wyman; sister, Sharon (Andy) Fahey; brother-in-law, Dr. Chester (Patricia) Wyman; and former sister-in-law, Jan Wyman. Besides her parents, Diane was predeceased by her infant daughter Krista Leanne. Cremation has taken place under the care of Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. At Diane’s request, there will be a private graveside service at a later date.
