It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Deanna Gertrude Muise, originally from Wedgeport. She passed away peacefully on February 4, 2023, at the age of 65 in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Deanna (Robbins) Muise was born on February 9, 1957, to William and Helene Robbins. Deanna was a cake decorator for 33 years, and enjoyed spending every second she could with her special family. Deanna was a creative soul, who could turn anything into a craft. She will be deeply, heavily missed by everyone who knew her. Deanna is survived by her siblings, Edwina (Allan Newell) Robbins, Weldon (Janice Blackwood) Robbins, and Raquel (Alban Comeau) Thompson; her children, Stanley (Amber) Muise, Michel (Jessica Gannon) Muise, and Alesha (Kyle Willinston) LeBlanc; grand children, Sylvain and Karlee, Brooke and Sophie; God Daughter, Chantalle (Justin Muise) Newell; many other nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides her parents, Deanna is predeceased by her brother, Wade Robbins; brother-in-law Burns Thompson. A Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, February 8,2023 at 11 a.m. from the Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to take place at a later date in the Saint Michael's Parish Cemetery, Wedgeport. Memorial donations may be made to the Friends of Gilles Boudreau Cancer Help Fund. The family of Deanna Muise would like to extend a huge thank you to the entire team at the Oncology Department at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital, and the staff of 4-North at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. They also wish to thank everyone who has reached out to them or Deanna now, and during her courageous battle with Cancer.
