David John Eyre, Yarmouth, passed away peacefully on February 7th,2021 at The Meadows Home for Special Care. Born in Ottawa, Ontario, he was a son to the late F. Charles and Margaret (Curran) Eyre. In his earlier years, David worked at Dominion Textiles, later working as a Chief Finance Officer for the Yarmouth District School Board. He thoroughly enjoyed reading, fishing, boating and time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl; daughter, Christine, Meteghan; sons, Bill (Cheryl), Pleasant Valley; Jamie (Petra), Yarmouth; sister, Barbara Butler, Florida; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Interment at a later date in Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery.
