As a Chief Finance Officer for the Yarmouth District School Board, Dave was a surprise! Not only could he 'crunch numbers' with the best in the Province (I would say better) but he never lost sight of the impact financial policies and practices could or would have on the staff and students of the District. Between him and John Daley, I believe we were the best-managed Board in the whole province. I will always remember that big smile when he last saw me as my dog and I were visiting before COVID! We all know that sometimes the last journey is hardest on the family. My sympathies to all of you.
