FORBES, Daniel Ryan - age 37 of Yarmouth, N.S. Passed away on December 15,2020 unexpectedly at sea. Born in Yarmouth on March 16,1983. He was son of Burton R. And Nancy J. (Boudreau) Forbes. Daniel was a loving father to his children Autumn Forbes, William Forbes and Jackson Forbes. He loved his family dearly and had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He was a people pleaser and other people's happiness brought him joy and was important to him. He was a bit of a jack of all trades and worked many jobs over his working career. In his spare time his passion was ATV’s especially three wheeling. He also loved sportfishing with his children, camping or anything outside. Besides his parents and children, he is survived by girlfriend Kim Fitzgerald, Yarmouth; the mother of his children Michelle Nickerson-Forbes, Yarmouth; brother, James Forbes (Amanda), Yarmouth; and grandfather, St. Clair Crosby, Yarmouth. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Harold and Mary Boudreau, as well as grandmother, Rebecca Crosby. A celebration of life will be held Friday, February 26,2021 at 2 P.M. from the Evangel Assembly Church, 1 Myrtle Street, Yarmouth, with Rev. Nathan Hill officiating. The service will be live streamed with details to follow. Please note that masks are mandatory, physical distancing provincial guidelines are in effect, and seating will be limited to 100 people, with family and invited guests being given priority. The family invites you to John's Cove Beach for a special ceremony on the beach at 11 am before the celebration of life. The beach ceremony will have a 150 - person gathering limit, subject to change (the beach ceremony will be live-streamed via Sweeney's Funeral Home Facebook page) Donations in memory may be made at Sweeney's Funeral Home towards a trust fund for his children.
