Zwicker, Curtis Winfield Sr. - 79,of Melbourne, Yarmouth Co. Nova Scotia, passed away at home on April 19, 2023, with his family by his side. Born in Berwick, N.S. on January 26, 1944, he was the son of the late Walter and Ardella (Gray) Zwicker. Curtis was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was known as “Papa” to most everyone who knew him and took pride in helping people out. He was a 30+ year member of the Yarmouth County Ground Search and Rescue Team. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Arlene (Royal) Zwicker, Melbourne; and survived by his Sons, Curtis Jr.(Jennifer), Yarmouth; Mitchell (Rachael), Yarmouth; Wayne (Melanie), Pleasant Lake; and his Brother Roger (Anne), Bridgwater; predeceased by his Sister Marguerite (Robert) Spindler, Brothers, Robert (Bobby) Zwicker, and Alison Zwicker. There will be no visitation by family request. Donations can be made to the Yarmouth County Ground Search and Rescue Team. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. As per Curtis's Request there will be no Funeral Service at this time.
