Courtney Michelle d'Entremont (NEE Robbins) of Hammonds Plains, passed away on April 21, 2023, at the QEII Hospital in Halifax with her loving family by her side. She was born on April 17, 1984, in Carbonear NL to her father, Glenn Robbins, and her mother, Brenda (Froude) McCarthy. Courtney was a mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend to many. She was incredibly rich in love. In the love she shared with those around her and the amount of people who loved her deeply in return. She was exceptionally brave, strong and resilient. Courtney had an amazingly bright smile and the most beautiful green eyes flecked with blue and gold. Courtney was soft-spoken, kind and extremely intelligent. As a career she worked as an embryologist helping couples struggling with fertility issues have babies. She took great pride in helping families bring more love into the world. In her short time on this earth, she amassed a lifetime of precious memories that will forever be cherished by those who knew her. We are all better people for having known Courtney and the world was a better place with her in it, she will be dearly missed. She leaves behind a most loving husband, André d'Entremont, her two beautiful kids, Olivier and Lucie d'Entremont, as well as her parents, and many friends. As per Courtney’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be Saturday, July 15 from 2-4 P.M. in Jacob's Loft Event Center ( Above Sweeny's Funeral Home), all are welcomed.
