Obituary for Charles Albertus Nickerson

It is with great sadness that the family of Charles Albertus Nickerson of Yarmouth, announces his passing at Yarmouth Regional Hospital on April 26, 2020. Born February 8, 1956, in Winnipeg, MB, he was a son to the late Clarence L Nickerson Sr. and Alberta O. Miller (Arisse). Charles was schooled and was well versed in many trades. He was employed at the Yarmouth Cotton Mill for many years before moving to London, Ontario for work and eventually back to Yarmouth in the early 2000s. He was a dedicated sport fisherman and spent many hours on the lake’s rivers and wharves of South West Nova Scotia. He also enjoyed motorcycles and cars. He is survived by his son, Charles Jr. of Halifax; brothers, Clarence (Jacqueline),Edmonton, AB; Arnold "Hank" (Ann Marie), Yarmouth; Andrew(Teri), Deerfield; 2 grandchildren; nephews, Sean and Pieter; nieces, Maria and Shelby; and his extended family in London Ontario, Roz, Debbie and Rod. In this time of COVID-19, there will be no service or celebration of life ceremonies. As per Charles' wishes, his remains will be cremated with interment to be announced.
