Hubley, Cedric Eugene - age 71 of Carleton, Yarmouth Co., N.S. Passed away on January 22, 2022, at Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born on March 19, 1950, in Cornwall Lunenburg County, he was the son of the late Frances and Roy Hubley. Cedric, or "Grumpa," as some of his family knew him was a Nova Scotia Power lineman for 27 + years. He was predeceased by both parents, brother Raymond (Janet) Hubley. Survived by his wife Joy (Fancy) Hubley; son's, Craig Hubley (Shannon) Rockville, Yarmouth; Danny Hubley Wedgeport; brothers, Douglas(Virginia) Hubley Bridgewater; Harley Hubley; grandchildren, Logan Hubley (Wolfville) Evvie Scott-Hubley ( Argyle) Ely Ben Mohamed ( Montreal), Leila Ben Mohamed (Rockville); and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He will be missed by many friends, family members, colleagues, and close neighbours. As per his wishes, he wanted to be simple and remembered for the way he was. Cremation has taken place under the care of Sweeny's Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. There will be no service at this time.
