Obituary for Beverly Anna Outhouse

Outhouse, Beverly Anna, 76, of Port Maitland passed away in her home on July 22, 2020, with her family by her side. Born in Yarmouth, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Evelyn (Ellis) Sollows. Working as a bookkeeper during her working career, Bev had the opportunity to work for the Town of Yarmouth for 12 years before spending another 32 years at Spears and Macleod Pharmasave before her retirement. Bev had many hobbies that included crocheting, cross-stitching, knitting, quilting and reading. She loved going for drives, looking for deer, road trips and always stopping at Tim Hortons for an “iced capp”. Her & Lew spent 18 years vacationing on cruise ships & enjoyed 40 hunting seasons into the Randall House. Bev’s favourite place was always their family Camp. She accepted Jesus Christ as her saviour and attended Pleasant Lake United Baptist Church. She will be missed dearly by her husband and best friend of 57+ years Llewellyn “Lew”; son Chris (Ronda) Outhouse, Port Maitland; Granddaughter Kala (Jamie) Comeau, Halifax; great-grandchild Brayan Comeau, Halifax; sister Lona Sollows-White, Carleton; and fur baby Lacey. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Yarmouth. A private Family service will be held with Rev Don Moses officiating. Donation in Beverly’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Dialysis unit at Yarmouth Regional Hospital.
