Mood, Barbara Roberta,92, of Yarmouth, passed away on August 8, 2019 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Deerfield, she was the daughter of Clayton and Grace (Hurlburt) White. Barbara dedicated her life to raising and caring for her family of 7. She was an outdoors woman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing in her garden. She will also be remembered for her love of home renovations . She was a pass member of the Yarmouth North Baptist Church as well as the Kemptville United Baptist Church. She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Marsha (Doug Bach) Mood, Truro; Jocelyn Mood, Yarmouth. Sons, Bryan (Sherry), Halifax; Terrance (Carmen), Halifax; Gregory (Wendy Ford), Mayflower and brother Clifford (Corrine) White. She will also be missed by her 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren as well as her many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by husband Malcolm Mood, daughter Wendy, son Gary and one son in infancy; Brothers Ernest, Garnet, Malcolm; Sister Kathleen as well as one great granddaughter. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Yarmouth. Funeral will take place on Monday August 12 at 2pm from Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev Bill Newell officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Kemptville. Family flowers only, donation in memory can me made to Lakeview Cemetery or a charity of your choice.
