Obituary for Anna Agatha Fevens

FEVENS Anna Agatha – age 66 went to be with her Lord February 11, 2019. Born in Lower Argyle on July 2,1952 she was a daughter to the late James and Isabelle (Goodwin) Spinney. Anna was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family dearly. She was a housewife who devoted her life to raising her family. She loved people, her family, and especially her grandkids, which she loved to spoil. A social butterfly, she was a magnet for people that were drawn to her welcoming smile. Anna was a proud member of the Yarmouth Wesleyan Church since 1989 where she attended with her husband Dick Fevens. She was a cancer survivor for 27 years and always had a positive attitude. Anna was well known across parts of the United States and Canada from her time in their lodge in NFLD and for her hospitality and cooking, especially her bread. In her spare time she could be found attending her grand kids sporting events. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years Dick Fevens, Lower Argyle; son, Jason(Danya) Fevens, Lower Argyle; daughter, Melinda (Matthew) Morton, Central Argyle; brothers, Ashton (Arlene) Spinney, Lower Argyle; Edward Spinney ( Pricilla), Lower Argyle; Roy (Anne) Spinney, Kemptville; Almond (Marcia) Spinney, Lower Argyle; Carl (Michelle) Spinney, Summerville; Aubrey (Celia) Spinney, Pubnico Head; grandchildren, Dyson, Marissa, Makenzie, Maguire; 22 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Anna was predeceased by her brother, Walter (Anne) Spinney; and a sister in infancy Audrey. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation will be held Thursday February 14, 2018 from 7-9 P.M. at the Yarmouth Wesleyan Church. A funeral service will take place Friday February 15, 2019 at 2 P.M. from the Yarmouth Wesleyan Church with Rev. A.J Plaizier officiating. A reception will follow. Interment will take place at a later date in Laurel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in memory may be made Hats in Haiti.
