Andrew Augustus Raynard, age 95 passed away February 14,2023 at the Meadows Home for Special Care, Yarmouth. Born in Pleasant Valley , April 12,1927 he was a son to the late Herbert and Leta (Hamilton) Raynard. Andrew was a jack of all trades. He was employed as a custodian for Zeller and Arcadia School as well as Truck driver for Esso, to name a few of his many careers. He was a very hard worker and did the very best for his family. He was a man of few words , strong , silent type but a loving man. In his spare time he enjoyed doing masonry and hands on jobs to keep busy. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by son, Kevin, South Ohio; daughters, Wanda Raynard, Chegoggin; Charlene Nickerson, Overton; Bonnie (Mike) Fuller, Brooklyn; grandchildren, Douglas; Andrew; Lauralee; Tony; Nicholas, and Katelyn; 9 great grandchildren. Aside from his parents he was predeceased by his loving wife, Myrtle; siblings, Victor; Vernon; Arthur; Ned; Russell; Donald; Hope; Edna, and Freda. A visitation will be Friday, February 17, 2023 from 6-8 pm from the Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. A private family committal will be held at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Pastor Keith Moore officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Charity of Choice.
