Fitzgerald, Alice Marie ,88, Yarmouth passed away on December 19,2021 at the Meadows Home for Special Care with children Jo-Anne and Gary by her side. Born in Melbourne on March 2, 1933, she was a daughter to the late Levina (Thibeau) and Clifford Muise. Alice worked at Harris Quick-N-Tasty for 18 years. In 2006 her daughter Jo-Anne bought the restaurant and Alice spent her days along side her helping out wherever she could. In 2012 Alice took a bad fall which led to her move at the Meadows Home for Special care in 2015. She was an avid knitter, bingo and card player. She is survived by daughter, Jo-Anne, Arcadia; sons, Gary (Pam), Hebron; Wayne (Virginia), Melbourne; Gerry (Jill) ,Arcadia; grandchildren, Alycia; Christopher; Michael; Joline; Noah; Spencer; great grandchildren, Hailey; Ryan: Hunter; Ava; Ryland and Samia; sisters, Catherine Moore, Kentville; Frances Surette, Melbourne; many nieces , nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by brother, Paul Thibeau and son in law Allen Gannon. There will be a Funeral Service, Tuesday, December 28,2021 at 11 am, Deacon Bruce Hubbard officiating. Due to COVID 19 protocols this will be family only, however, will be live on the Sweeny’s Funeral Home website for viewing.
